New Thrillers, Documentaries, and Anime Feature in Upcoming Film Releases

The film industry is gearing up for a diverse slate of releases, including a new thriller from Crave starring Hudson Williams and a documentary exploring the life of actor Adam Pearson. "Yaga," a Crave series set to premiere in October and air on AMC+ in the U.S., features Williams in dual roles, hinting at a complex narrative.

Meanwhile, the documentary "Zero Intention of Living Quietly," which premiered at Telluride, offers an intimate look at the friendship between Adam Pearson, an actor with neurofibromatosis, and a teenage girl who shares the same condition. Director Ross McElwee also discusses his latest film, "Remake," and themes of love and loss in a podcast interview. On the anime front, Crunchyroll has acquired the feature "Witch On The Holy Night," based on a visual novel, and plans a North American theatrical release in January.
