Texas Rises to No. 1 in Coaches Poll; Florida State Unranked

The Texas Longhorns have ascended to the No. 1 spot in the US LBM Coaches Poll following a dramatic comeback victory over previously top-ranked Ohio State. Quarterback Arch Manning orchestrated a stunning fourth-quarter rally, erasing a 20-point deficit to secure a 24-23 win and significantly alter the national college football landscape.

This upset has not only elevated Texas but also caused a substantial drop for Ohio State in the rankings. Meanwhile, the Florida State Seminoles, after a bye week, find themselves unranked in the AP Top 25 poll following Week 2, highlighting the early season's volatility and the shifting power dynamics among top college football programs.
