Raphinha was the star of the show, netting a hat-trick to extend his lead as the league's top scorer and solidify Barcelona's perfect start to the season. The win places the defending champions firmly at the top of the table with six wins from six matches.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid faced a scare against Elche, narrowly escaping with a 3-2 win. Despite taking an early lead, Real Madrid allowed Elche back into the game, highlighting potential vulnerabilities. The match was also marked by off-field controversy regarding players not wearing a support shirt, drawing criticism from the La Liga chief. The narrow victory, however, keeps Real Madrid in contention, though Barcelona's superior form is setting a strong pace.
