Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is reportedly set to undergo surgery for a thumb injury, potentially ending his season. The injury occurred on the very first play of Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills, forcing him to exit after just one snap. This latest setback comes after Jackson had already missed three previous games due to an ankle sprain.
The Ravens are now facing a quarterback crisis, with both Jackson and his backup, Tyler Huntley, sidelined by injuries. This leaves the team reliant on undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano as their emergency quarterback for the remainder of the game. The recurring injuries to their key offensive player cast a significant shadow over the Ravens' season and their playoff aspirations.
