Liverpool Face Chelsea in Carabao Cup Amidst Strong Form

Liverpool are set to face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup fourth round at Anfield on Wednesday evening, with the Reds entering the match on a strong run of form. This fixture follows Liverpool's recent Premier League victory over Brighton & Hove Albion, where Alexander Isak scored the second goal in a 2-0 win, marking their first home league win of the season and propelling them to fourth in the standings.

Earlier in the week, Liverpool secured their first home Premier League win of the season against Brighton, with Isak's goal contributing to a 2-0 victory. This win was part of a broader positive trend for the team, having won eight of their last ten matches across all competitions. Manager Andoni Iraola has acknowledged the team's momentum but stressed the need for continued improvement, while also providing updates on player availability for the upcoming Carabao Cup tie.
