Roku Streamer Howdy Secures Exclusive Rights to 'The Walsh Sisters'

Roku's new streaming service, Howdy, has significantly enhanced its content library by acquiring the exclusive rights to the BBC-RTÉ adaptation, 'The Walsh Sisters.' This move positions Howdy to attract viewers with a popular series starring Louisa Harland, known for her role in 'Derry Girls.'

The acquisition grants Howdy exclusive access to Season 1 of the series, which is an adaptation of Marian Keyes' novel. The show delves into the lives of five Irish sisters, exploring themes of secrets, family conflicts, and moments of redemption. The rights are effective from November 5, marking a strategic content play for the emerging streamer.
