Arsenal Manager Slegers Backed by Board Amidst Challenging Run

Despite a recent dip in form, including a winless streak in their last five matches and a dropped two-goal lead in the Women's Champions League, Arsenal manager Renée Slegers has expressed confidence in the support she is receiving from the club's hierarchy. Slegers highlighted the "good and positive" relationship with the board during this "difficult time."

The team's performance in the Women's Super League (WSL) has also seen them fall seven points behind leaders Manchester City, with only one goal scored in their last three league encounters. This challenging period is compounded by an upcoming crucial fixture against WSL leaders Manchester City on Sunday, which will test Slegers's ability to turn the team's fortunes around.
