Manchester United staged a remarkable second-half comeback to defeat Roma 3-2 in the Champions League, a victory that significantly eases the pressure on manager Michael Carrick. The team trailed by two goals at halftime, a performance that had fueled growing fan discontent and speculation about Carrick's future.

The win against Roma marks a crucial turning point for Manchester United, snapping a lengthy winless streak that had seen them struggle significantly at the start of the season. Despite a challenging first half and a delay caused by fan protests, the team rallied after the break, with Matheus Cunha scoring twice to secure a vital three points. This dramatic turnaround offers a potential reprieve for Carrick, with the club's leadership expected to reassess his position during the upcoming international break.
